Sorry to hear this Amanda, thinking of you....

Sorry it's not a great diagnosis, hopefully it will be sorted quickly.

Sorry to hear that but hopefully now you will not have to wait too long for the laser treatment.

Sorry it was not the news you were hoping for. I hope the treatment cam be pain free for you.

Sorry to hear about the bleeds @AJLang - hope you can get effective and pain-free treatment for them.

Thank you everyone. I went to the hospital Optician yesterday and due to a number of issues including muscle eye problems that can't be corrected and eye energy problems she said that my eyes are "knackered"!

Not what you want to hear :( {{{HUGS}}}

Thanks Alan. I must admit that I'm feeling mentally battered by it all. But at least the Optician gave me answers which made sense.

Sorry AJ {{hugs}}

:( Hug

@AJLang
{{{{{HUG}}}}} Sorry to hear this AJ
What is the next step AJ?

Yes, Amanda that’s hardly a comforting assessment. Will there be further efforts with regard to unknackering your eyes? I do feel for you, it’s a worrying time. Fingers still crossed. x 😳

So sorry to hear this.

Oh no! I hope she said it with a smile on her face!

Sorry to hear there are things that cannot be corrected :(

I am sorry to hear about this. It is always frightening when something happens with eyesight.

so sorry to hear your news, I presume there will be follow ups and treatment?

Thanks everyone. With regard to your message Scousebird I'm waiting for the hospital to confirm the laser but that won't help my current vision problems. Mikey with regard to my eyes being "knackered" All the Optician could offer was even more magnification on the right lens in my reading glasses, that I hold reading material very close, using bright lights and moisturising eye drops but even with that won't help the eye muscles or eye fatigue. She did try prisms to help my eye muscles but because of the damage in my left eye they didn't work.
