Sorry I’m late to this one! My daughter’s insulin requirements at least doubled when she started puberty, so it’s quite likely this might be a cause. And they still haven’t really come down, in fact we are having problems with highs at night at the moment. Such fun.
It sounds like you have some good suggestions here so I hope it works. When my daughter has highs that won’t come down I find temp basal of at least 140% for a few hours will shift it, not ideal every day though. Hope your consultant’s suggestions help.
