Hi all on the first of march next year I'm am doing a 280 mile walk to ben Nevis and then a 4,904 foot climb to the summit I have given myself 14days to complete the challenge I'm doing on behalf of a very impressive and amazing woman her 6 year old daughter who is so brave has type 1. I'm trying to raise £5000 to help find a cure or to make everyday life for all those people who have this horrible condition. And I would like to ask you all to help me spread the word of my walk. My just giving page is https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/james-bryant10 I don't expect any of you to donate I would just like if you can help spread the word. I think you all are amazing dealing with this condition and my thoughts are with you all.

Many thanks

James

Hi James, welcome to the forum 🙂 That's a terrific challenge you have set yourself, and for a very worthy cause 🙂 I hope that your training goes well - I imagine it's going to be quite tough training through the winter months! 😱

All parents of Type 1 children are absolute heroes, so I hope you can spread the word far and wide and hit your target - and more - by the time you start 🙂 Good luck! 🙂

If the lady in question is in need of any support then she is more than welcome to join us 🙂 (She may already be a member, of course!)

Thank you I really do hope I raise full amount for everyone. I give her the details about the forum and told her she can use my login to save her signing up. Thanks for your support.

Many thanks

James

Good luck with this James. 🙂 JDRF are a great charity and hopefully the research they fund will lead to a cure for Type 1.

Thanks you all so much for all your support I'm trying to get local news coverage for this event as I think more people should know how difficult this condition is to deal with day to day and for the family's who deal with this also your the ones who are brave and deserve as much help as you all can get.

Please keep us informed how you are getting on with Event 😎
