Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
Hello,
I'm an American living in England now since 1977. Being diagnosed wasn't a surprise. Out of 4 grandparents 3 were diabetics. My late father, late sister, and late cousin were all diabetics. Both my children have flown the nest so my companion is a 13 year old bossy Calico called Belle.

Welcome to the forum @jacksbubbe

How has your diabetes been treating you?

Are you on medication to help your blood glucose management?

Have you found a menu that helps you keep your glucose in a place your are relatively happy with?

Is there anything that has made you want to join the community at the moment? Any questions or worries you have?

I'm on Metformin, Byetta, and Gliclazide. My bs is pretty steady from 4.5 to 7. However, I was sick yesterday and today and just tested and it was 10.8. I'm trying to drink more water because the nausea is better.
