Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
Hi all I am a new member my name is Danny, I have Diabetes type 2 and have been on metformin for around 3 months, I am experiencing on my forehead a tingling and skin crawling sensation and pressure on the bridge of my nose, I saw a Neurologist today as I have very early stage Parkinson's, he told me this sensation is due to the Diabetes, has anyone else experienced these issues?

Not due to diabetes but I had that with sinusitis.

Nothing like that.

Not on my face, but between my shoulders on my back before being diagnosed and treated. Like a tingling then crawling feeling for months intermittently with no obvious reason why. It went as soon as i got my BG down to normal levels and haven't had since so i assume it was Diabetes related.

I still get the skin crawling feeling sometimes even though my diabetes is pretty well controlled now. It was really irritating and prolonged for several months about 4 months after I was diagnosed but is much more intermittent these days. I haven't had the nose pressure but get muscle tension, particularly in my shoulders and neck quite frequently.
