Welcome to the forum Mortal, from a fellow T2 who's five years in.

Hello @Mortal and welcome to the forum.
I hope you find some things of interest, and can join in some of our dicussions.

That's a lot of years as a Type 2. I guess there has been quite a lot of change in the advice, NHS checks etc in that time.
What has been your main ways of keeping your diabetes under control?

Best wishes

Just noticed that I put 1996. I meant 2016. Head not with it today 🙄

Ahh! Well that's still 4 years in so well done.
Was there anything in particular you wanted to find out about? If not I'm a general browse around the site will show the wide range of things that get discussed here.

Still take Metformin but kept it under control with diet, although it gets harder with age, 53 now 🙂

Welcome to the forum @Mortal 🙂

There are lots of friendly folks here who are walking the walk of diabetes, so lots of shared knowledge and experience between us - even if that’s just the daily frustrations of trying to manage BG and attempt to live a relatively ‘normal’ life (whatever that means!)
