New member, and needing motivation and help. H number was 67 in Jan now down to 50. The illusive 48 seems to be hard to reach. Docs have given me 3 more months to get there before they put me on metformin. Trying to avoid drugs, but can I say no if my number goes down?

I got my results down to normal by eating low carb foods, nothing over 10 percent carbs. They can't argue with the figures.

Nearly there Michaella and welcome to the forum 🙂. Keep doing what you are doing but as Drummer says carbs are the issue, people are different so what affects one doesn't necessarily affect another. testing your blood sugar levels is the only way you will know which foods affects you. Another member will be along to give you details of what you need to concentrate on but for now best wishes.
