Dave sorry CP is carbohydrate portion in DAFNE AND 1 CP=10 grams carbohydrate. Took me a while to get my head around working it all out and still getting there but it has benefited me. I am attaching photos of DAFNE book wit h fruits listed and as blueberries and blackberries are not listed we were told no carbs. Correct or no I don't know apart from fact I don't need insulin for blueberries but depending and if eating blackberries or raspberries insulin requirement depends on bg before eating and what I eat with them. Always found fruit/veg aspect interesting as I grew up with an orchard, fruit trees and veggie patch in my back garden:D

Thanks Shiv, I'm now a bit wiser though still utterly mystified why DAFNE has blueberries and blackberries as zero carbs. Good though if you can tolerate blueberries! We grow a lot of fruit and veg and have two very productive blueberry bushes but I've got to be a careful as to how many I eat!

Yeah I find interesting too - blackberries are like raspberries for me and need insulin (albeit a tiny amount). I love blueberries and whilst a full punnet mightn't like me I can usually tolerate quite a few🙂 Good for you growing your own - wish my back would tolerate that now but I attempt to have the window boxes full of herbs, leaves and scallions😉

I'm wondering if they are taking the fibre off the carbs. In the U.S, you have to minus the fibre from the total carbs to get the NET carbs (the ones that affect us). In the UK, that is already done. When searching for carb content online I find most of the results are from the U.S. & need the fibre taking off.
