True, we can eat anything. When I reached 15 stone I reflected that maybe that approach wasn't suitable for me though. I am a compulsive over-eater though. I now keep carbs a lot lower and treats are just that: occasional. I am back at fighting weight and this time have not relaxed my rules to see if this time I can keep the weight off.
I'm only 7st 6lb at the moment so could do with a tiny bit more as with my height my bmi classes me as underweight

Did you lose weight before diagnosis? I too was underweight when I was first diagnosed, having lost two stone very rapidly due to the diabetes.

No not particularly I've been the same weight for about 2 years and no I haven't had my diabetes as long as that as I'm at the doctor every 3 months so surely they would have picked it up before now haha x
