The aim is to spend the minimum time below target so yes, you do correct 4s and 5s with a tiny amount of Dextro to nudge your sugar back up when you’re trying to improve hypo awareness. This is important.

@mum2westiesGill I sharpened my awareness hugely. I used this method and it worked.

I've learned something today too then! Maybe just while you’re trying to improve hypo awareness you do this? Apologies if I’ve confused the issue!

No harm done you're only trying to help which I appreciate so keep up the good work xx

I might decrease my basal by 1 unit from 15u to 14u tomorrow. 14 sounds as well because it's an even number

This morning I've decreased my tresiba from 15 units to 14 units.

Update
Since post #13 I now won't be having shares with dextrose because since before tea yesterday every BG has been above target
20:20 BG 12.9 before tea
23:44 BG 10.9 bedtime
8:07 BG 10.2 waking
9:24 BG 12.8 before breakfast
13:45 BG 12.7 before lunch
