Hi all, my team are recommending that I start to take metformin as they think I am becoming more and more insulin resistant. I do take large amounts of insulin and I am a big guy....any thoughts anyone?

Thanks Mike, I think I'll give it a go!

To the best of my knowledge, metformin is supposed to help our bodies make better use of the insulin available, but I'm not sure how it works. I think it stops the liver from making too much glucose too.
