The twitchy eyes are back with a vengence at the moment.

If my left eye is not twitching it is my right eye.

Has anyone else experience bouts of this?

On another subject I proud to say I went to bed with BS of 4.7 last night and woke with a bs of 4.7 again. Heres to good BS for a while again 😛

I get it Di but i just ignore it if im worried about something or nervous it happens more though i have noticed....only my right eye does it though...

Well done on your numbers thats really good, getting them to stay the exact same level overnight is fab

My left eyelid has been twitching for about 2 weeks, allegedly its lack of sleep or too much caffeine, but I am still getting it, after plenty of kip and no caffeine.......:D

I get it too and strangely enough it's my right eye too. Hmmmmm maybe we all come out in sympathy with each other 😱

It used to happen to me around the time I was diagnosed. Not often, but now and again my right eye would start up with this annoying little tick. I haven't had it happen for a while now though, I put it down to anxiety at the time. I was really stressed back then.

I used to get this all the time but I just realised I haven't had it for a while now. It used to be worse when I was stressed or upset about something

I have had that pretty much all my life. usually when I am very tired or stressed. I would not blame diabetes for it. I sometimes laugh about it and tell someone they must be stressing me out because my eye is twitching!

When I need a break from the computer screen when I need to sleep or when I am worried I get it. I try to make sure I have regular breaks and plenty of sleep. I find using an eye was like optrex helps or if I am out of it a cool flannerl or damp tissue across my eyes helps. If you are worried it is always a good idea to see a doctor or take medical advice.

I have had a tic on and off for the best part of 6 months. It will stop for a few days then start again. It's really annoying as it in in my strong eye. I read somewhere that if the eye is too dry that can cause tics.

I guess we're all just a bunch of winkers then. 😎

(sorry, couldn't resist). 😱

My left eye has been twitchy since I had my top left back molar out. It may be a coincidence, but seems to be settling down now.

Lack of sleep causes it for me, and long before diabetes too so not related for me.

I get it sometimes and it was quite bothersome for a few months recently. It wasn't so much twitchy in that you could see it but kind of tingly in both eyelids, top and bottom. I realised the other day that I haven't had it for a few weeks.

Get this occasionally myself although my wife says she doesn't notice. Twitching eyes is due to stress, sleep deprivation and anxiety to name a few, there's not much you can do about it except try and address the situation that is causing the twitching.

Dont think my twitchy eyes are down to the D

Think it is a combination of Work & Home

Got loads of stuff going on!!

I was in a bad way back in August 2007 (Pre Diagnosis, miscarrages and I suspect a bit of depression) and had major twitches then in both eyes - I dont want to go back there.
