I’ve noticed that Turkish food tends to send my sugars sky high. On the surface the food is quite low carb if you avoid the bread and stick to a bit of rice (side note, I eat way less rice with Turkish than say...risotto) but my estimates for the carbs are way below what I need. Does anyone know what’s in the food to do that?
