Hi folks I'm back on the straight and narrow after the Christmas blip after putting on some weight,I wasn't too bothered about it as I thought well it's cold and depressing in winter so it's not surprising to slip on the diet a little, chocolate and biscuits were my weakness and I had 4 or 4 McDonalds as one had been built next to the Tescos that I use for my shopping,so all of that added some weight, bit disappointed although I'm still a good amount lighter than my heaviest.
I would like to lose more weight.
Do you find it's harder to lose weight going low carb again as the body perhaps tries to hold on to it more this time?I haven't added any brisk walks this time around yet which I imagine made a big difference last time as it must have got my metabolism in to gear doing a brisk 2 mile walk in the morning, and I felt that was what flicked the switch for me and got the body working again as otherwise I can be fairly inactive due to being a carer at home, and I felt the morning walk was the best time as it got the body fired up for the day.
As soon as the weather gets brighter I will start walking again or at least I may just do it later in the day to start with as it's too cold and grey in the mornings at the moment so very uninviting,I have been using my bike and using shops a few miles away but that can become limited too in the winter as I prefer not to use my bike too much if the roads are wet,I did 8 miles last night though on a trip to Asda to get my mum some t shirts,2 for £6 for good quality white t shirts,I was pleased with that.
I hope you're all fairing well and the New year brings good things,I missed being on here as I enjoyed the support but I have been away as I felt I couldn't participate while I was being naughty on my food relapse,it just felt wrong,I'm over that now,and I'm just pleased that the Quality Street tubs have gone from the shops,I must have has a good 6 tubs!
