Anyone who is interested the BBC are airing another series of this programme looking at the stories behind the health scare stories in the news. This morning's was on Statins and Asthma.

This is the second series there was one a couple of months back. Very intresting, is on after Breakfast news on BBC1.
 
We watched it this morning. It presented both sides of the statins argument but to be honest it couldn't give any definitive answers. My GP is keen on me carrying on taking Atorvastatin, even though my cholesterol levels are pretty good now.

I watched all of the last series it was balanced too. Though with everything medical opinions always vary depending on who you speak to.
In the last series a contributor highlighted conflicting reports in the same publication being published on consecutive days.
