I have a near full box of milk tray left over from my birthday only ate 2 that day I'm too scared to touch them as I haveno idea how many carbs is in just one and don't want to weigh each sweet to find outMy weekend treat is 3 nice chocolates after dinner. This means Thorntons, Hotel Chocolate or Lindor. If the chocolate is rich enough three is enough and it helps me avoid pigging out on the cheaper stuff, knowing I have the nice ones to look forward to.
This evening we have Thornton's puddings or Lindor hazelnut flavour: both picked up in the Factory Outlet Shop of all places.
Oh I haven't had anything reese's related since diagnosis I actually have no idea how many carbs they have, I have however considered buying the reese's round biscuits I can't remember exactly what is in one but I know it's under 10g xI have a small pack of Reece's Pieces that is sitting there looking back at me with one eyebrow quirked as if to say "well, watcha gonna do about it eh?". It won't be long before I succumb to its wiles. Or I may rescue that pot of gooseberry fool from the fridge. Decisions, decisions.
@4.7g per cup apparently. I had to eat both cups cos my pen doesn't do half units.Oh I haven't had anything reese's related since diagnosis I actually have no idea how many carbs they have, I have however considered buying the reese's round biscuits I can't remember exactly what is in one but I know it's under 10g x
I've been looking at mousse's online and I found that the rolo one only has I think it's 10.8g carbs per pot so that may be going on my shopping list next week depending on what the DSN says on Tuesday as I'm still unsure on allowing that kind of thing I went mad and the past 2 nights had a bag of crisps after tea but never tried a pudding and as predicted after my milky bar i've risen oh well hopefully i calculated my supper correctly and the 4 units will get it back downI've just had a verrrry nice chocolate mousse .
Only 4.7g ohh i could maybe get off with one without anything as they are saying 1 unit per 10g for me at the moment although i have noticed if i have toasted waffles and peanut butter or toast and peanut butter for breakfast i tend to rise by lunch, better not be the peanut butter haha x@4.7g per cup apparently. As you are type 1 you can eat what you want and cover it with insulin, rule of thumb is not to go silly and everything in moderation. High sugar foods are best eaten as afters from a meal so the blood sugar spike isn't to high.I've been looking at mousse's online and I found that the rolo one only has I think it's 10.8g carbs per pot so that may be going on my shopping list next week depending on what the DSN says on Tuesday as I'm still unsure on allowing that kind of thing I went mad and the past 2 nights had a bag of crisps after tea but never tried a pudding and as predicted after my milky bar i've risen oh well hopefully i calculated my supper correctly and the 4 units will get it back downx
I know but the milky bar always seems to do it haha to be fair I could sit and scoff a whole bag of co-op white chocolate buttons to myself but since being diagnosed and cutting sugar out of my coffee etc I found the milky bar a bit too sweet, I've always been a dark chocolate lover so it's great that 6 squares of Green and Blacks 85% only has 4.5g 🙂 xAs you are type 1 you can eat what you want and cover it with insulin, rule of thumb is not to go silly and everything in moderation.
