Relationship to Diabetes
Type 1
Hi
I have T1 diabetes and have started a new job. I am lucky to have a great manager- who wants to learn more about the condition specifically:

Hypo symptoms and treatment
Hyper symptoms
Planning refreshments for team away days

Does anyone know of training which covers this or should I create my own?

Is there nothing in the Learning Zone (link in Orange above)?

Hi @worriedT1 welcome.

Wow what an employer! there are many who don’t really wish to engage. I think if you do “typical for you etc” type list that would be a good start for them.

Welcome to the forum @worriedT1

Great that your employer is so engaged and wants to learn more.

You might find some useful stuff on this page

which has information about your rights under UK law, and links to information for your employer with some of the basics, and suggestions of things like risk assessments which may be helpful
