What levels do people train on and ehats the right level to finish on ? Is ther a certain range you have to be in for it to be more effective ? Feel stupid askin but i trained for 3 months having only weekends off and did not feel a diffrence or see a diffrence

What training are you doing and what results are you wanting?

Is it weight training you are trying @Brodietype1 ?

Or cardio / fitness / stamina?

Different types of training seem to benefit from different nutritional and glucose-management approaches.

There are some hints and tips about exercise and T1 on the Extod site

The training i was doing was weights and didnt feel any stronger i was eating clean but looking to lose abit of weight as i havent been in a while due to having bad pains in my legs

I remember you saying you’ve been having a lot of hypos @Brodietype1 If you’re having to ‘feed the insulin’ then that a contribute to weight gain. Have you done a recent basal test? How are things now?

What’s the problem with your legs, if you don’t mind me asking?

I combine both resistance (weights) and cardio as they have different affects on my BG.
Resistance training raises my BG and cardio reduces it. So, if I get to the gym and my BG is 7 or higher, I will do 20 minutes on the treadmill before weights whereas of my BG is 4 or 5, I start on the weights.
I do this to maintain my weight and fitness although I do find I slowly increase my weights if I do it 3 or more times a week. If I do less often, it's as if my body "forget" and I don't get any stronger.
Generally cardio helps better with weight loss whereas weights help to distribute (and build) the muscle. But I understand cardio is harder if you have leg pain. Are you able to go swimming?
