What did they all used to hold the rabbit up with? I had one but it tipped over and the liquid jelly went all over. Agh.

I used to luv pink blancmange and jelly at school. Our school dinners were divine. Happy memories. :D

How are you doing now Glenys? I am trying to automatically think 'low carb' but in an effort not to have scallop and chips yesterday I must have eaten triple the calories in low carb 'healthy' food! 😳
I am good thank you, having a few good days, eating well, not low low carb, but healthy.

My mum used to make blancmange (or more often pink blancmange - the flavour being "pink") in a plastic rabbit mould! I don't remember having a particular body part though . I wasn't massively keen on any custard related product anyway, though pink or chocolate blancmange wasn't too bad. (Better than my mother's custard anyway!)
O my goodness yes chocolate blancmange that was wow so good.

It’s a lovely thread of reminiscences!

Glad you’ve been making healthier food choices @Glenys. And thanks for starting the thread 🙂
