I have two lots of physio: one for my elbow and one for my shoulder (there is no physio who does the whole arm).
I have diabetes clinics. Thankfully, they are less than annually so not too often.
I have just signed up for a shingles/flu/COVID vaccine trial to determine if they can be taken at the same time.
Today, is shoulder physio day. When I got up, I thought my appointment was at 10:30 so I was mooching around drinking tea, eating breakfast, reading emails. At 9:15, I glanced at my calendar and saw a physio appointment at 9:40. I usually give myself 40 minutes to walk to the hospital so I swore loudly. Ran around the house like a blue a**ed fly then walked as fast as I could. On the way, I considered whether driving would have been quicker but decided I had made the right choice: I would have to deice the car, get stuck in traffic and find a parking space which would take as long.
I made it to the physio reception at 9:45. Not bad going for speed but I hate being late (and anyone else being late).
I needn't have worried. I had looked at next week's calendar. Today's appointment is at 10:30.
On the other hand, next week's appointments are both on Thursday (the first one at 9:40) and scheduled so I can go from one to the next. The second appointment even moved their break to make it easier for me.
I just need something to entertain me for 30 minutes, today.
