Tired - Weak

Type 2
I was diagnosed with T2 many years ago, initially managed with performing etc and on recent years two types of insulin. My results on my Abbot app vary (Usually 7 - 17). My diet is not brilliant, I do not drink alcohol or exercise to any degree. This week my blood sugars have fallen to around 3 on three occasions. This makes me feel awful, tired and weak. Nothing has changed this week - dosage, food, drink, activity, sleep, why the sudden change?? Despite having reasonable nights sleep I have had to go back to bed for 1 - 3 hours in the afternoon.

The weather is warmer - that can actually make a difference, as can many other things which we probably don’t know or think about

Welcome @Hurricane It could be a number of things, but ideally you’d be able to ward off the drop before it got to 3. What’s the Low alarm set at on your Libre? If you set it at 5.6, you’ll get alerted in good time to stop any drop.

@Hurricane welcome to the forum.
Sorry to read you are getting these low readings.
Can I ask if you have checked these low readings with finger pricks and whether you have changed your Libre in the last week?
The reasons for my questions are to confirm you really go that low. It could be that you have a faulty lower reading sensor or that it is in a slightly different place subject to compression lows.
I appreciate you mention you feel awful but I sometime I find that seeing the low numbers can make me feel poorly even though I was fine until I looked at the app. I guess it is a kind of psychosomatic response.
This is not something to belittle and can feel pretty bad for me.

The other thing to check is your insulin and pens. Typically, degrade insulin will not work as well so BG is typically higheer but I have experienced lower readings which were corrected when I changed my insulin cartridge.
