I love my fruit but the size of bananas round here I am no way going to throw one of them into a meal so any tips on lower carb better options I've been having a look at tesco online and plums and pears don't seem to bad but a point in the right direction would be good thanks 🙂 x

Some supermarkets sell smaller bananas, usually labelled for children's lunchboxes.
In general, fruits grown in temperate regions, such as apples, pears, plums, plus all types of currants and berries have lower carbohydrate content than tropical fruits.

Fresh apricots are yummy and about 3-4g each. Peaches and nectarines at the moment are about 8g each in our Sainsbury's. The trouble with pears is you don't know what size you're going to get. I ordered some that were huge and nearly 20g each.
I often eat half a banana- slice it before peeling and wrap the end in cling film for tomorrow.
