Hi guys, I have been waking up lately with tingly unresponsive fingers. Am i worrying about this too much because i have read that this is a sign of neuropathy, this is often when you have high blood glucose but mine is well controlled.

Any clarification on this would be great

We can't diagnose through the forums, so you'll have to ask a GP or someone for a proper answer.

They will probably ask if all fingers are affected equally or if it's the outer fingers (little and ring), as that will differentiate between periferal nerve issues (eg neuropathy) or problems originating from the spine.

Probably best to check it out, there are lots of things that can cause tingly fingers, including vitamin and mineral deficiency as well as neuropathy. All need checking out of course. My only symptom of a very low B12 count was tingly fingers and toes, for example. Hope it gets sorted for you soon.

best you see gp and get your mind put at rest

I get this a lot especially in my fingers also!!! pretty much every night!

And get hot flushes in my feet very odd!!
