According to their website, they sell it at Holland & Barrett, but It's not on their website.

Sounds delicious...but does it contain that stuff that gives you the trots (polyols)?

Oh...... I didn't look at that!

It does contain polyols, but it's all about portion control. Unless of course it's so gorgeous that it's worth the trots.:D

Haha! Possible.

Ice cream ain't cheap the cheapest cornet from my ice cream man is a £1!

£1 is a bargain. Round here it's at least £1.50.😱

Or even better still - make it at home ! I don't even own an ice cream maker but found a receipe for home made cherry ice cream - no ice cream maker needed , was delicious !

I made this for my OH a while ago, and I have been asked by others to make it for them. It's super, super simple, and involves no ice cream maker, repeated whisking or any nonsense at all really. Of course, Nigella's original recipe uses icing sugar, but I'm certain that could be substituted for a sweetener to make it D friendly. It's the lime juice in the cream that does all the thickening and unctuousness creation.

I am advised it's very rich (and alcoholic of course)

https://www.nigella.com/recipes/no-churn-margarita-ice-cream

Nigella does a whole range of ice creams, based upon cocktails.

Who's up for the challenge of recreating it?
