Have any of you ever noticed like...darker hair on your upper lip?

The reason I ask is that I have noticed over the past few weeks that I do.

I am really embarrased about it too. There seems to be nothing I can do about it. I don't know if I am being proper daft. Mum suggeged lemon juice...

the internet tells me that its very common in ladies......and suggests waxing O_o

Electrolysis would get rid permently i imagine.

I've noticed it a little. Lemon juice can act as a natural bleach. I used to do it on my arms and legs and then sit in the sun for a while. The other bleach is hydrogen peroxide tha folks use for head hair and arm hair, but it is poisonus if put near the mouth.

I know it says ladies but thought i would just say that my ex used to get her top lip waxed, she said the first one left her lip feeling tingly but after that first time it got better.. another friend has problems with hair on her chin which she plucks and then shaves...

I do believe that you can get special bleaching kits for facial hair...
Again, ive heard/read that it can be quite common in ladies who are naturaly darker (as in brunette)

I have suffered with facial hair for years- used all sorts and now resort to the tweezers - ouch! One good things about getting older is that most of it is now white! My sister is the same - guess it is in the genes:(

Im lucky that arm & leg hair is blonde, but have never had the lip problem. I do check for it though as I am paranoid! :D Dont worry though, loads of people do get it & there are plenty of options, combo of lemon juice n tweezers doesnt sound too drastic.

Randomly & slightly away from the subject area I get the occasional blue hair about an inch long that grows out of my tattoo round my tummy button. Its like it appears overnight.

You can buy special bleach for the above lip area. I have used it occasionally - more often or not my OH decides that when I am trying to go to sleep is a good time to approach me with a pair of scissors ....

They do hair removal cream for the face in boots, it's only a few pounds and it works.. not as stinky as nair either...i'm dark haired and use it all the time.

I have naturally very dark hair - (although going gray now 😱). I have bleached and/or depilated ?? my upper lip for years. I use Jolene bleach or a depilatory cream for sensitive skin (usually Veet).

I've been noticing mine for years......whatever did I do that was so wrong I started sprouting facial hair? Anyway - I wax my lip and chin. It's not so bad once you get used to it. Any stragglers then get tweezed....
