...sort of....lol

18.10 had tea and QA. Blood was 9.1
20.15 4.6
20.50 5.9
21.25. 9.4
00.00. 11.1
02.00 alarm went off and I hit cancel and went back to sleep. 😱
04.00 9.8
06.00. 7.8

Are these enough readings to do something with? Or do I need more?

You need to leave at least 4 hours between last eating, your last bolus, and the basal testing.

Your readings from 12 however are helpful (If the food you had at dinner was healthy and lowish in fat - Ie not takeaway or a restarant meal)

On first glance, It suggests your basal levels are set too high to me through the night... However the pumpers will give you better info than this!

I'd agree with Benny.

In your shoes I'd be inclined to run the test again (with 2am result if possible) to make sure that the pattern repeats and isn't just a one off, but if the same fall occurs next time it looks like you could do with slightly less basal between 2am and 6am (you usually make a basal adjustment 1-2 hours before you want to see the effect).

10% reduction or 'one notch' down on your pump over those hours might be enough

Then you just need to work out why you were 11 at midnight 😉

Hee hee - Mike said what I think! On the face of it, looks like you need slightly more after tea and slightly less from some time after midnight until 6am.

You should really get the whole 24 hours done before you start fiddling.

Thanks all 🙂

I'll try it again tonight and will try not to ignore the 2am alarm :D
