I felt funny & tested 3.0

Couldn't open my lucozade so I looked for things high in glucose in the fridge.

Enter sweet chili dipping sauce.

Yes I'm gross but it worked!!!

Ew! 😱 Naughty Laura though - you should have many more appropriate treatments dotted around your home! 🙂

I couldn't open the golden syrup :(
But mum had bought & hidden some fruit pastels so they are in every room with the lucozade

I once tried to eat spoonfuls of icing sugar except i kept inhaling it at the same time and coughing my guts up! I then decided to outsmart the icing sugar by adding it to a small amount of water along with some strawberry flavouring for taste (hypo brain) ended up in a huge sticky mess, icing sugar dust everywhere and icing finger prints all over the work surfaces. It seemed like such a good idea at the time, goodness knows how much I had but my glucose levels went sky high and it took about 30 minutes to clear up afterwards.

You tend to do some strange things when going down hill (hypo) 😉🙂 I dont do cake decorating. (taking the p & hope you where ok ) 🙂

Hubby once came home to find the kitchen covered in uncooked pastry dough (on the work surfaces, floor and ground into the soles of my slippers) whilst a ball of the stuff I'd managed to wrap in cling film and put in the fridge was studded with jelly beans I'd been trying to eat whilst making it.

Imagine the surprise of the dinner guests Chez Evans that evening, when they sliced into their serving of Beef Wellington and encountered melted jelly beans in the pastry ......

Lol! I hope he did the gentlemanly thing & cleaned up!

Couldn't get the lid off the jam jar and burnt the toast (I hate burned toast) I ended up eating some leftover mashed tatty from the fridge. Except, much of it ended up on me (and the floor) rather than in me. A neighbour dropped in for tea and found me in the kitchen trying to clean up the mess. She's still teasing me about that one.

Chilli dipping sauce?!?! 🙂 how much of the stuff did you need??. I always have a stash of bassett's jelly babies - they are the best and you dont need to put up a fight to open the bag!. You only need 3- 4 and they are super easy to chew and work REALLY quickly!

I love to eat jelly babies & jelly sweets so try not to keep them in the house or if I do, I have to hide them.

I had about 3 spoonfuls while tea finished cooking

I think I'm going to have to read this entire thread to my OH - so accurately describes where your mind goes when you're in hypo brain mode!
