Don't feel this fits with other forums so I am being chatty...........
The Swan at Alfriston...........Alex Polizzi's place. Has anyone been????? Given a voucher towards a stay as Golden Wedding present. We have just pushed the boat out and booked two nights b and b, but may dine elsewhere as it's awfully expensive for us anyway.
Eldest grandson is doing 10 Tors this weekend, so we are tracking his team so far, they are doing very well. Rather him than me. Other one is swimming , channel training, outside pool at Wivlescome, DH is asleep and I scrolling here. Lovely Saturday.

For me to get to our Golden, I would have to live until I was 97, so isn't going to happen, but I guess you never know.

I don't know many couples that have made to 50 years as divorce is so common now.
We have another 4 years to go. No idea what we will do to celebrate.

Oh well,we are here. It's lovely, very boutique but old charm. Glorious day. Had dinner here......oh crumbs........tried very hard to keep an eye on the carbs but gave up at ice cream for desert. So good thst we have booked for tomorrow. Might have to sell my pearls to pay for it, but its a Golden anniversary. Home Wed so I shall restart then

You must be having such a lovely time. We've had a shower today but weather has been good and the long days are lovely. Having looked the place up to have a touch of envy have you deliberately misnamed it to thwart google/ stay anonymous? What's two consonants between friends!
 
Oh dear, sometimes my fingers don't work and mistakes happen. but it is fab. Very pricey . Anniversary was last October and we have only just got around to this.
