If you’re living with diabetes and looking for some useful tips around eating healthily, the North of England team at Diabetes UK has arranged an event which may interest you – and it’s free to join!

The Great British Quiz-Off is a fun, food-themed quiz followed by a Q&A with a nutritionist and a dietitian. It takes place tomorrow (Thursday, August 13) between 7pm and 8.15pm and will be held online, via Zoom.

It is open to all (feel free to invite family and friends!). If you would like to attend please email Evie at evie.kinghorn@diabetes.org.uk and Evie will send you the relevant link and password.

Diabetes UK volunteer and nutritionist Steph Bedford will host the quiz and put your food knowledge to the test. There are no prizes, it’s just for fun. Following the quiz, Steph will be joined by another of our brilliant volunteers, dietician Nusrat Kauser, and they will be there to answer any of your questions around food.

We hope to see you there tomorrow!
