A marvellous article which explains how we all feel from time to time, regardless of how far we have got in understanding diabetes.
http://www.diabetesexplained.com/diabetic-emotional-issues.html

It is worth reading the other two articles, The 5 Stages of Grief and Diabetes Burnout which have links on the above.
When somebody is feeling down about their diabetes and thinks they are alone and other people are managing so much better than them, take time to read this. I keep it in my favourites file as it worth another read from time to time.

I think it is a "must read" for all of us and the "5 Stages of Grief" helps if you are newly diagnosed.

thanks for sharing...I will be saving them to my favourites as well. we all get down from time to time and need things like these (and people on this forum) to remind us things aren't so bad.

thank you for sharing that - i have read through all three articles and they have some very helpful things to say - the grief one i found very interesting as i have realised that i have three seperate grief processes to work through and i am at different stages with them all. Bookmarking those pages is a must!

Thanks again x

I am amazed at how much I identified with this article (not surprising in fact as it is another diabetic talking to me !). I have added it to my favourites too so I can re-read it at leisure but oh yes, it's me, me,me ! Thank God for some real straight-talking and understanding.
