So - I had an interview today, and thought I'd treat myself to dindins at the chinese buffet.
I was certainly much more careful than I would have been before, but still had a good feed, and a few naughties...
Started with a few bits of the battered lemon chicken (mmmmmm), and a couple of barbecue ribs, moved onto the tepanyaki section - a good helping of rice noodles, mushrooms and peppers - with just one slice of beef and chicken, and a few prawns
finished off with 3 large thai style mussels, and a small scoop of beef curry, I didn't clean the plate of all the extra sauce like I used to...
I walked home (20mins) from the train station, and took a reading (about 1.5 1.5 hrs after) - 5.2 (hadn't had my meter foir a before reading), took my metformin, and an hour later it was 7.5
gonna do another test at 3.5hrs (about half an hour) but it looks ok...
now - the last time I went there - I had 2 plate fulls of starters, 2 (huuuuge) plate fulls of tepanyaki stuff, and a load of the other dishes (followed by iuce cream)...
