I too am a meridian nut butter fan, except perhaps for the hazlenut butter...have you tried the pumpkin seed butter? Delicious and bright green :D
Oo, oo, can't wait to try pumpkin seed butter, esp if it's bright green! Thanks for the heads up.🙂😛

Of course, you could also make your own - blender, bag of peanuts, some groundnut oil (rather than the veg oil everyone else uses) and then any seasoning of your choice, job done.
Way ahead of you, DeusXM - can't get Meridian here, so I make my own almond but nutter. I did find some random brand at my local wholefood shop but it had added fructose. Why?😱🙄

I see my SEM has been breeding for which I apologise. I discovered my SEM in the year dot or so it seems to me.
I've moved several times and the little blighter has followed me :(.
We too have found buying the same colour of the same brand socks only works for a few washes too as the little blighter has learned to fade socks to a different shade 😱

The sock manufacturers do this for 2 reasons. One is to laugh endlessly as they realise that they are driving people insane and two is obviously so that you buy loads more socks. I think that all sock manufacturers should be lined up and have their bare naked backsides beaten with a rolled up copy of Sock Manufacturers Monthly Magazine. That'll teach them to mess with the diabetic masses.

Trouble is they might like it lol.

I've a very unrefined palate - peanut butter is peanut butter as far as I'm concerned, so I'm quite happy with the Tesco value stuff which is not only less than 70p for a decent size jar (compared to £2 for a smaller jar of the Meridian stuff), but is also, importantly, lower in carbs than most posh peanut butter despite having added sugar. Turns out that oil is cheaper than peanuts, so the value stuff tends to have a higher oil content which suits me fine - you just have to store your jar upside down to ensure the oil doesn't all congregate at the top.

Of course, you could also make your own - blender, bag of peanuts, some groundnut oil (rather than the veg oil everyone else uses) and then any seasoning of your choice, job done.
Got a jar of the cheap stuff and is indeed lower carb than the posh stuff. Downside is that to me it has the consistency of window putty and a taste which is little better. Back to the dear stuff for me. I do however like Tesco own brand yeast extract.

Trouble is they might like it lol.

I know and I feel that it is morally bankrupt. Now if it was a rolled up copy of 'Practical Needlework Magazine' then it would of course be fully acceptable

Bloody Norah that's a bit spooky. I once went to a fetish party dressed as a character from Star Trek. A most alluring female approached me brandishing a whip and a rather sardonic smile. All I could utter was 'Beat me up Scotty' 😛

I have similar experiences. I go out and buy chocolate and every time I get a little bit drunk some bugger sneaks in and replaces all of my pretty, beautiful delicious chocolate with empty wrappers. I still cannot work this one out 😱
Same bugger visits my house-busy body that they are. Do you have the fairy that puts stuff in your supermarket trolley as well?

I have one of those that puts stuff in my trolley. The fairy is called Trevor (my OH)!
