Suggest starting on low dose, better than going in on max dose, can be increased later if needed.
Thank you, that is the approach I will take. Mind you, I can already see her eyes rolling, a bit if sighing...
 
Is there not another one who you can have a discussion with?
Tried that, but I was sent back to her. It is nonsense because non diabetics have questions about Statins, but the other Dr I saw was stuck on the fact I was diabetic and therefore I needed to see the Dr who works with diabetic patients. I am stuck with her and simply have to learn how to 'manage' her and she will.have to.learn that I ask questions.

Oh well. Another tablet to add to my collection!
Had the update from my gp today after being assessed in the virtual diabetes clinic (how my surgery do things). As my hba1c has gone up they have added linagliptin into the mix, with advice to adjust my diet again and next review in 6 months instead of a year.
A bit down about it all at the mo but will do as I'm told.
