Thanks for your kind message, and good luck in finding a set of strategies for managing your glucose levels that works for you long-term.

The elusive cure for any type of diabetes remains to be found, but there is published research that shows that for some people T2 diabetes can be put into remission, where the metabolism is ‘rebooted’, and blood glucose levels are adequately managed without the need for medications.

It doesn’t happen for everyone, and currently the experts aren’t sure quite how long these cases of remission will ultimately last, but it’s very promising and exciting for what was once considered to be an inevitably progressive condition.
