Hi guys,

I have recently been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and I am getting used to the insulin and counting my carbs.
I am supposed to be going out for our christmas party meal on Friday to TGI Fridays but I cannot find anywhere with the nutritional information to be able to count my carbs and inject the correct dose of insulin. I have even tried ringing TGI's who have no idea whatsoever about the carbs in there meals which to me is ridiculous.

I do not suppose anyone knows where I can find this information or if anyone has this information? I have tried looking online but can only seem to find the USA version and unsure whether this will be the same.

Thank you 🙂

I think it's right - scary! - but correct.

Welcome to the forum @Johno'connor

Eating out can be tricky as you have no idea when the food will arrive and the cabs can be difficult to count. Great if the link gives you the information you need. If not sometimes just do your best, and enjoy the evening. Keep a watch on your levels afterwards. Life goes on and call it research.

Well, it seems in the UK, TGI don’t do nutritional info. The only reference I could find was in their FAQs, where they waffle about customers being important to them. Well, obviously not that important!
