Thought this was definitely worth posting (did look but can't find it anywhere!). It's a petition for people with type 2 for access to test strips on prescription.

It looks like it's being launched for World Diabetes Day -the end of the video is quite funny actually... http://www.diabetes.co.uk/World-Diabetes-Day.html#video

The actual petition link is:
http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/20537

The video explains more about the petition. definitely a good cause and am sharing it like a beaver on acid!

The last sentence of the petition seems to throw the baby out with the bath water .....implying no need to test much if on D&E only or metformin.

have to agree with others, its badly worded with the last sentance allowing a cop out

I never read that actually - but seeing its by far the best petition I've seen for t2 test strips I'm 100% behind it! I hope it reaches 100k as it'll be great to have this discussed in parliament.

Read it like that; not never read it 🙂

The other petition says the same thing for me really - and the spellings mistakes don't really add to its credibility

Or is is they saying that T1 and insulin dependant will have to test less?

Signed 🙂
Its about time someone took action on this subject. Lets hope we get a change!!

I signed both petitions, can't hurt.

Shame about the last sentence, but will sign both.

Signed second about to look at first and emailing to all I know
