For years (maybe still to this day) my mum thought Wham! had a hit called Wake Me Up with a Cup of Cocoa.OK, not a joke but something that I thought was funny. There is a song by Chappell Roan called Red Wine Supernova. There is a line in the song "I don't care that you're a stoner" My wife, known for mishearing song lyrics heard I don't care that you're a Skoda, now I can't unhear it.
The Who song Who Are You also has the F-word in it, it was never censored for the radioTalking of the F word. On the radio edit of You Ought To Know by Alanis Morriset, the F word is blanked out by them inserting the briefest moment of silence on the vocal track. Not only is it really obvious from the context what the word is but about a hundredth of a second of the F and the K is still there so effectively your brain fills in the blank. On Some Nights by Fun the censors didn't even notice the F word was there so even on the radio edit it's still there.
Years ago, a friend on a campsite we both used to frequent reckoned the local wood pigeons used to sit in the tree - or land on your roof/ridge pole etc - cooing '********, ********' repeatedly. Still makes both of us giggle as and when, 3 or 4 decades later!
