Just wondering (as I'm not a tech person) what the latest tech people are using?

I have xDrip on my phone that uses the Libre2, connect's to my watch, so I can see my BG at a glance, and I have just bought an M5stic to go on my motorbike, so I can see my levels whilst riding (although I have no idea how to program it yet)
So what have you????

I have xDrip+ on my phone which connects to my Miifit watch.
I also have the Medtrum app, EasyPatch, on my phone to manage my pump.
Disappointingly EasyPatch and xDrip+ do not talk to each other so I still need human input.

What pump are you using? would love an app for my pump (Omnipod) but they don't do one yet

I am using a Medtrum.
It is great to be able to head out with a phone and a pack of hypo treats (except when driving or when out for a few hours when I need more)

Just been looking them up, I have been on the pod for two years now, and although I love it, I do hate carrying 2 phones around (as the PDM is just a phone)
I might talk to my diabetic nurse about changing.
How reliable have you found yours? any issues?

No major issues. More failures than with my previous tubey pump but only 4 or 5 a year and Medtrum are great at replacing the patches (equivalent to your pods) when it happens.
They have just released the Nano and I will be getting an upgrade in a couple of weeks when I have used my current supplies.

Giggling here! As you all know I'm much the same as our Lucy though I do have a pump and Libre I still use my phone to make phonecalls and texts. But there again - I am twice her age! - and know very well we no longer have the latest tech with anything.

Catting to some 80+ yo acquaintances we've known for years whilst all camping over the Bank Holiday - they said they'd decided to stick with their older caravan rather than get a new one for the simple reason it still worked OK with no problems they couldn't sort out themselves should it develop a fault, they were used to towing it all over Europe, etc etc. If it ain't broke - why try to fix it?

It's crazy really - I have a large (leather) purse - what with that and my equally bulky Combo meter/remote in my handbag it's enough. Where do you even buy a leather purse or handbag these days? difficult enough buying flippin decent shoes. Or get one big enough for all the membership cards as well as the bank ones and the hard cash! If I happen to have the pump itself in my trouser/skirt pocket - which mostly aren't big enough for modern phones - being larger and flatter - safely - it would be more inconvenient to me, to carry my phone 'everywhere' because a phone can't handle anything D wise I rely on.

I really like the sound of the Medtrum myself - but that depends as ever on your own hospital - and mine doesn't do anything modern other than the Omnipod & Tslim. No hope of a CGM for the likes of me. eg. the Medtronic pumps only choice is the 640. Who knows in another 4 or 5 years whether I'll even still be alive!! let alone what pumps or other tech will be available.
