I assumed the site was down this morning so that the server could be rebooted or whatever they do.
I have had very few problems with it up until this morning, on my PC.

I’ve had intermittent problems with pictures & photos not loading properly & can’t always see them.

The last time we had the problem when nobody could log on was most probably before you joined.

It only freezes when I use my iPad, so Safari.
I generally browse on iPad or iPhone without freezing, so that’s extra weird. Mine is a regular 6th gen one running iOS 14.2, not a fancy schmancy ‘air’ or ‘pro’ version.

Mine’s ancient. Pre-fancy version. 😎

Mine is an iPad Air but it’s about 4 years old and won’t update beyond iOS 12.4, I wonder if it’s older versions which are having the problem?

Ah that’s interesting @Sally71

We upgraded my Mum’s this Christmas because it was gradually refusing to do anything. Tch! Blummin built-in obsolescence 🙄

My iPad is also quite old but regularly updated.
I have no idea what version it is on.

I haven’t tried on my phone. So much easier on a bigger display.

I don't seem to be getting email notifications for threads I'm watching. Dunno if that has anything to do with server issues?

Even if I search for the forum in Google it automatically opens it in Safari in the iPad. Is that the case for everyone. Would I need to use my laptop to open it in a different browser?

When I wanted to try a different browser on my ipad I had to download the Chrome app, then go to Settings, click on the Chrome icon in my list of apps, and select it as my default browser, otherwise the ipad automatically opens everything in Safari.
If you want to use Chrome occasionally, you click on the Chrome icon on the home screen, instead of the Safari one, and google the forum from there.

This seems to be a widespread issue. We will get the technical boffins to get their spanners out once the office opens up next week.

Thanks @Robin.
