does anyone take victoza r am type 2 on metefromin levimir and victoza and my last test was48 can taking two much stuff make you ill

Well obviously nobody recommends a drug overdose whether it's been prescribed or an illegal one. However your HbA1c is still firmly in the diabetic range so what are the symptoms you are worried about?

Hi. It's a bit unusual to take both Victoza and Levemir but it shouldn't make you ill. Victoza does have known side effects which the Leaflet with it should explain. Taking Metformin with the other injectables also shouldn't make you ill. If you want to reduce the number of meds you are on, make sure you are having a lower-carb diet which should help reduce your weight and possibly the need longer term for both the Victoza and insulin. The lower carb diet will also help with blood sugar control.

I would disagree with your assessment, @DaveB, taking Victoza and Levemir can make you ill, which is why that combination should only be supervised in a hospital clinic, certainly not by a GP, and certainly not to anyone who isn't regularly testing their Blood Glucose.

Hope you have been able to phone your GP @trevann - or at the very least, pop in to visit a qualified pharmacist in a chemists and ask their advice.
