I’m puzzled. Are you saying that if more carbohydrate is re-introduced, the insulin to carb ratio increases?

A common finding. Eating too few carbs can increase insulin resistance. It’s called physiological insulin resistance, which I’m sure you’ve heard of. Eating a normal amount of carbs keeps sensitivity ok. Eating lots of carbs and a very low fat diet turbo-charges insulin sensitivity.
