Good morning all - 1st post so hopefully won't ramble..
My Daughter is about to start secondary school, she's T1. For her last year of primary, we home educated, so she's been protected as much as we can for nearly 18 months as she has other health conditions too. The new school have been great in allocating her a diabetes experienced 1-to 1. But as parents we are nervous in introducing her back into mainstream education due to the Covid threat.
We appreciate that 1st year at secondary is so important from a education, social and making friends aspect so don't want to hold her back.
Added to this she is so very excited to start her next chapter.
So any comments or wise words please.
