I had this bought me as a pressie yesterday, suitable for diabetics and vegans. 1 tsp contains 4 carbs and 4 sugar. Ive just had some on a half a banana. 1 tsp plenty.

The banana would have my BG somewhere over the rainbow without any help from syrup !! LOL

Have you looked at the ingredients? Anything ending with "ose "is suspect.
Maltose, glucose etc. I am always suspicious of special diabetes products.

I've used Brown rice syrup/Agave syrup as a sweetner.

Get yourself some low fat natural greek yogurt add a bit of the syrup some crushed berries (blueberries or a handful of defrosted frozen fruit from Aldi) and scatter some chopped nuts or seeds on top.

Breakfast tomorrow - sorted!

No thanks, I'll stick to a dish of the full fat yog and teaspoon of honey; wouldn't want it sweeter than that after all these years!

I use the sweet freedom. As low GI it works very well but with all things use in moderation. Agave is not as good as the sweet Freedom imho.
It's a case of test and see what happens 🙂
