Swimming with the Libre

I went swimming for the first time with the Libre over the weekend. Me and my 10 year old daughter did some 20 odd lengths in the pool. Really enjoyable.
I didn't have any problem with the Libre but I did exceed the stated '30 minutes' by quite some time.

What do people do, do you cover the Libre with a plaster or similar when you go swimming, or just ignore the 'time limit'?

I’ve seen some people post online about ignoring the recommendations about time limits, including scuba diving...

But I guess, if you’ve been swimming for 2 hours and the sensor stops working, it would be quite an expensive swim!
 
I use a tegaderm over my sensor if I am planning to swim, not because I am worried about it not working, but I don’t want it to fall off. I then happily do a 1 hour session and find the Libre great as it is a lot easier to swipe at the end of a few lengths, than have to dry my hands, get my glasses on and do a BG test. A great tool.

I LOVE swimming...I’m the smiling fool in the pool. 1 hour @SB2015! Half an hour is enuff for me - I don’t bother with tegaderm, btw.😛
