Hmm some strawberries and cream, a small pot of yoghurt or mousse, a homemade chocolate pud x

Hmmm depends how many carbs you allow yourself to eat haha, you can make the pud as low as 4-5g carbs, 100g strawberries is about 6g carbs I think and well depends on the yoghurt you choose haha, had I thought about it that is less than the sandwich I just had (damn it) lol x

Haha not good for u then ! Could do with a whole Easter egg and some cream cakes lol x

I've been feeling the same recently I have to admit, why don't you try a chocolate éclair. the little 4 pack ones from Tesco are 12g carbs each but they are the best choice as the cream slows it down 🙂 x

Hate cravings for sugar .. yea that's good idea

Sugar free jelly and 80% dark chocolate is always a winner in my book and practically zero carbs

Having one of those days as well. There are chocolate biscuits on the snack table, anyway if I eat anything now it will impact my 2 hours post lunch testing. Must remember to get some high % chocolate.

How high can you handle though? that is the question Lorraine lol x I've just had my daily 2 squares of Lindt 90% and quite fancy giving the 99% a go but it's not really available round here! Aldi have a nice 85% that comes in a wee cardboard outer with 5 individually wrapped 25g bars, they are about 4.5g carbs per bar xx

Probably going to try 90%, but might try stronger, if I don't like it I can use it for making chocolate ganache next time I make a cake as that is better with a high percentage.

You wont have much luck trying to find stronger than 90% here unfortunately, online you might but most sites I've looked at don't include nutrition info so I just stick with the Lindt 90%, expensive at £2 a bar and only lasts me 5 days 😱 haha x

My god how do you eat that stuff its much too bitter for me ... The highest I can go is 65% ... I have tried but it just doesn't work for me x

Going into the office tomorrow...only go in about 3/4 times a year...always make them cakes...baked triple chocolate brownies (85%)...clementine muffins & small spiced apple tarts...don't have a particularly sweet tooth...but...needed to taste them...had one of each...went up to 10.1...almost had a melt down...long walk with Harry...back down to the 6's now...phew!

Haha Manda I absolutely love it and could quite easily eat more than 2 squares at a time 😳, I've always been a dark chocolate lover luckily 🙂 x

Glad it went down again. I know I will have trouble when I bake, which I have put off since diagnosis, except for 1 batch of cupcakes for mothers day. I think I will just have to get hubby to try them.

Gosh that's a shock but great it went down so fast. It all sounds so delicious, I am on my way round!

You are more disciplined than me, I could never just have two squares. I can get 99% here, it's ok though I prefer the 90%!

In all honesty I could eat much more in a day that what I am allowing myself to and I mean proper food too not just chocolate but I'm still a bit scared to x
