This is really bugging me i dont know if it is just the warm weather or something else im still learning every day about smptoms of a hyper and i have heard that sweats are a sign , but in the last 3 days i have just been sitting in th armchair and all of a sudden i will just go really really hot like uncomfortbly so i have to go and stand at the door and cool off sometimes it can come with a pain in the head other times its the hot sweat alone , does anyone have any advice for me please?
p.s when i test im always 9 to 11 when im having one of these episodes

Don't know if its connected to diabetes - there was a previous thread about this and lots of us seem to get them, particularly at night. Its exactly the same sympton as the 'hot flushes' of the menopause - so mine could be due to either! But, I think you are too young for that. If in doubt you could get your hormone levels checked to rule it out. Its a puzzler

i get really hot sometimes, i get night sweats but assummed that was my age!
Don't get pains in the head at all though.

i can normally tell when my BG is raised as i feel flushed in the face.

Sorry, not much help really.. have a good day 🙂

Could be a couple of things, how long has it been since you ate and the hot sweats happen? Some foods take a while to react, and what kind of food did you eat.

The other thing could be you are comming down with a cold or something? You're too young for it to be menopause, so it wont be that.

It might be the hot weather, when I sat in the sun Satirday, my numbers were between 8 and 10 every time I tested.

Hope you are feeling better.

Hi Steff
My advice would be to chat with your nurse or GP, maybe on the phone if you don't want to visit, for your own peace of mind. Can be confusing trying to identify the problem.
Sorry i can't help, hope you feel better soon.
