Hi everyone,
I am Type 1 and together with a team of Event Studies researchers at the University of Hertfordshire, I am collecting data for a research project on Type 1 Diabetes, Events and Family Quality of Life. In the first instance, we are looking for families with a child with Type 1 Diabetes aged 2-10 years. If you want to share your experience of going to events (including sports events, music festivals, carnivals, school fairs, or any other type of event, no matter how big or small), please fill in our survey at the link below. The questions are around how you bond as a family, and the memories you create, as well as potential challenges and issues you face as a family with a child with Type 1 Diabetes when attending events/festivals. There are no medical questions or questions about your child’s treatment plan. It takes about 10-15 minutes:

The research has been approved by the University of Hertfordshire, Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities ECDA Ethics Committee, protocol number: BUS/SF/UH/04608
For more information, please send me a PM or email r.stadler@herts.ac.uk
Many thanks,
Raphaela (+ team)
