I'm so pleased for you Natalie and remember these things tend to come in three's :D I hope the rest of the day/week is just as good Sheenax

Wonderful Natalie! Yee Hah ! again :D

Pumps are just getting so old hat round here now, aren't they?

My 'other forum' had a meet in June gone and of the T1's there at a partic moment, the majority were pumpers. Patti got her pen out to take her lunch bolus and Wendy (MatureTypeOne) grabbed my arm to attract my attention and look at Patti's hand. "Eeeeeh Jenny!" she says, "Do you remember them things? we used to use them in the olden days, didn't we?"

All three of us just fell about laughing and couldn't explain to anyone for quite a while!

When she could speak Patti said she'd woken up in a cold sweat in the week running up to the meet, picturing herself getting a pen out there and not being able to find a needle, and saying 'Oh dear - could someone let me have a needle please?' and everyone chorusing, 'No - sorry mate!'
