I moved surgery a couple of weeks ago to a new supersurgery opened a month ago.
Several reasons for doing so. I tried for 5 days to book an appointment with doctor for annual medication review phoning at 8 am each day and when eventually got through - no appointments left. This doctor now only holds clinics 2 days a week. Tried booking an appointment to have annual check up with 'diabetes nurse' after waiting 2 weeks to have HbA1c blood test and had to wait a further 3 weeks to see her as her working hours had been reduced. Lately prescriptions have either not been ready after 4 days or items short. Final straw came when handed medicines for another patient with same name.
So have moved to this new supersurgery which is in same road as local hospital and podiatry clinic I attend.
Having prelim check over with nurse tomorrow but as I was running out of a particular medicine went to see if I could see new doctor for prescription yesterday morning.
I was booked in to see prescribing diabetic nurse within half an hour, had bloods taken a few minutes later and had prescription filled in between, so whole process took less than an hour. Compared to my old surgery it would have taken several weeks to achieve this.
The supersurgery has three separated practices operating with some shared services with an attached pharmacy which is partly self service (off the shelf medicines) and opens long hours.
Very impressed with service received so far.

Hi there, this month my sister is having a surgery so i'm looking for some advice how to support people after surgery and how to overcome her fear. My sister is scared about a lot of stuff and i was looking so long for the best hospitals for her so she'd stop being scared of. And i found a very good surgery center with highly-qualified surgeons and very polite and nice staff where she will be operated. I'm really happy that i found this center seattleplasticsurgery.com because my sister delayed the operation for so long because of her fear.

Hi Joanne, and welcome!

It would be best if you make a new post, then the responses will be relevant only to your (sister’s) situation.
