Hi, recently on a routine trip to hospital I noticed poster 're the reduction of sugar content in drinks and sweets traditionally advised for the treatment of hypoglycaemic events. I wonder if someone can point me in the direction of an article covering the specifics as to what drinks and the reduction amounts please.

Previously Lucozade had 10g carb to 60ml of it - now you have to drink 100ml to get 10g. So it's roughly only half the glucose now.

Can you point me to a reference for this and the other main items I believe Vimto and Jelly Babies are among others being changed but im trying to find a reference for them all.

I think the only thing you can do is look at the individual packaging @Ian Walton - even where a brand has changed, the supply chain is such that the product you purchase in store may be original recipe. In the case of Lucozade, there were absolutely NO changes to pack design, so the only thing you can do is squint at the grid on the back and see how much you need for your 15g carbs (or whatever you are after!)
